Back Up!

Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it. – Helen Keller

Back up AS! You whupped me this morning. You whupped me the morning after I told everyone that I’m working on being fabulous. Life is a funny funny thing and this chronic illness I deal with gives me such a hassle. But I’m telling you AS to back the heck up. I’m going to win.

Until tomorrow.

In The Studio today March 29, 2012 I created this piece in graphite, watercolor, and grease stick.

Many have asked about purchasing this piece so I’ve added an order button. I will be releasing this as a limited edition print that I then add hand touches to so each one is unique but don’t worry the hand touches just enhance the print and give each one a little something special. They are printed with archival inks on an Epson 1100 professional printer onto 140 lb watercolor paper. They look really great! And… I always include something extra in each order.  Thank you so much for your interest and support!

Back Off AS 5.75″ x 9″ Print – Hand Detailed Limited addition of 100. Signed & numbered by me :) This is for US only please contact me for to place an order outside the US as I will need to adjust the shipping cost. Thanks! Jenna

Thank you Jenn! <3 ALL I could think about today was my back – guess it had no choice but to spill out onto my art.

I’m having that exact type of day today — spine is screaming at me and has been all day. Really love this art piece.

This looks exactly like me, and the dot marks one of the spots where, I got a shot the other day.
And what you said is exactly spot on :)

Oy… I wish it didn’t look like us but I feel that these angry scribbles and x’s are what my back would exhibit if the pain inside were visible. When I read about you mentioning the spot I had to look at the piece… that was a piece of the grease stick I think flaking off in a very SI joint position! Kismet for sure. Hope you are feeling better Mary.

I had another slow start this morning but Doug brought me coffee, my laptop, and some Voltaren for my neck. Stayed in bed for a bit and now I’m moving around much better. Thank you sweet friend and love to you too.

Please keep posting the apple from a year ago today; I’ll look forward to re-visiting them each morning as we did a year ago.  Your art and words are a powerful pair. May the pain subside.  Love you!
